Join us for Sunday Services at 10 AM
At Saint Thomas, worship is a shared work of the community that is:
Embodied
We bring our full selves to worship, using posture, movement, and physical gathering to express our faith.
Participatory
Every voice matters. Together we pray the ancient creeds, offer responses, sing hymns, and share the peace.
Sensory
Through music, sacred art, light, and sacrament, our worship creates a tangible sense of God’s beauty and presence.
The Rhythm of Our Worship
At Saint Thomas, our Sunday worship rotates between two historic traditions:
Choral Morning Prayer
Rooted in monastic traditions and simplified during the English Reformation, Morning Prayer is a worship service centered on scripture, psalms, canticles (biblical songs of praise, like Mary's Magnificat), and intercession. Led by lay worship leaders and choir, Choral Morning Prayer draws us into the expansive arc of God’s story across scripture.
Holy Eucharist
The Holy Eucharist (or Holy Communion) grounds us in the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Using The Book of Common Prayer, we gather around scripture and the altar to enact God’s story fulfilled in the bread and wine, receiving grace to take out into the world.
Rotating between these two services moves us back and forth between hearing God’s story in scripture and responding to that story through the tangible grace of Holy Communion.
Music & Choir
Music is a vital part of worship at Saint Thomas. Our music program weaves together classic hymnody, choral anthems, and sacred liturgical music to creatively enrich our worship together.
Sing with the Saint Thomas Choir
We welcome all joyful singers to participate in the choir! No formal audition is required, just a love of sacred music and a heart for worship.
Rehearsal: Sundays at 9:00 AM in the Choir Room
Worship Service: Leads music during the 10:00 AM Sunday Eucharist
